Hi everyone, this old website has been revived, just like the old club itself! We are now playing chess at the Japanese Cultural Centre every Friday evening and we look forward to seeing you all!

Congratulations to all who participated in the 2019 Club Championship! Special congratulations go out to our prize winners. Kyle Morrison came in first and Ruibin Li second in the Open Section. Ken Callaghan and Michel Vasquez tied for first to second in the Under 1350 Section. Abdullah Khan came in first in the Top Child Player ( Under Age 13) Section.

NOTICE: THE CLUB WILL BE CLOSED ON DECEMBER 20TH AND 27TH AND WILL START UP AGAIN ON JANUARY 3RD, 2020.

REMINDER: BYE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY MIDNIGHT BEFORE THE NEXT ROUND BEGINS. OTHERWISE, THE GAME WILL BE SCORED A RATED FORFEIT OR A ZERO IF AN EMAIL IS SENT TO chesshamilton@gmail.com before the round begins.

Those arriving after 9:20am may not be paired

• Game Times
Saturday - 9:30am, 2:00pm and 6:30pm
Sunday - 11:00am, 4:00pm

• Sections and Prizes
Top Guns, U2000 and U1600 and U1200
Top Guns and U2000 will play for cash prizes. U1600 and U1200 will play for trophies
To play in the Top Guns Section you must be 1900 or higher
To play in the U2000 section you must be 1500 or higher
To play in the U1600 section you must be 1200 or higher
Please note: Unrated players are not eligible for the U2000 prize.

(Cost at the door is $70 and $40 respectively)
